Identity documents (for cause creators): scanned images or photos of your passport, Aadhaar card, or PAN card. Payment details: bank account number, IFSC, UPI ID, or similar details that you choose to display on your cause for receiving donations. Verifier information: if you are assigned a Verifier role, we may record your verification actions (e.g., which causes you verified). Communications: messages, emails, or other information you send to us. 2.2. Automatically collected information When you use the Platform, we may automatically collect: Device information (device type, OS, browser/app version); IP address and approximate location; Usage data (pages visited, causes viewed, time spent, actions taken); and Log information (timestamps, errors, crash reports). 2.3. Information from third parties Currently, we do not use third‑party identity verification services. If we introduce such services in the future, we will update this Policy and, where required, seek additional consent. 3. How We Use Your Information We use your personal information to: 3.1. Provide and operate the Platform Create and manage your account; Allow you to create and list causes; Enable Verifiers to review and mark causes; Display payment details to facilitate peer‑to‑peer donations. 3.2. Security and compliance Perform basic admin checks on identity documents; Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and illegal activity; Comply with applicable laws, regulations, and lawful requests from authorities. 3.3. Communication Send service‑related emails/notifications (e.g., account approval, cause status); Respond to your queries and support requests; Inform you about significant changes to the Platform, Terms, or this Policy. 3.4. Platform improvement Analyze usage patterns to improve functionality, design, and security; Develop new features (e.g., enhanced KYC, trust registration, wallet features) using aggregated or anonymized data where possible. 4. Legal Basis for Processing (for users in jurisdictions that require it) 4.1. An admin (Anas Jawed, on behalf of Next Business Media Private Limited) manually reviews these documents to approve or reject profiles. 5.4. You confirm that: You have the right to share these documents with us; The information is accurate and belongs to you; and Uploading these documents does not violate any law or third‑party rights. 6. How We Share Your Information 6.1. With other users (publicly visible information) To enable peer‑to‑peer donations, certain information you provide may be visible to other users, including: Your name (as provided); Cause description; Payment details (bank account, UPI ID, etc.) that you choose to include in your cause. You should only share payment details that you are comfortable making visible to other Platform users. 6.2. With Verifiers If you create a Zakaat cause, Verifiers may see your profile information and documents necessary to perform their verification role. 6.3. With service providers We may engage third‑party service providers (e.g., hosting, cloud storage, email delivery) who process data on our behalf under confidentiality and security obligations. They are not allowed to use your data for their own purposes. 6.4. Legal and safety disclosures We may disclose your information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or when we believe it is necessary to: Protect our rights or property; Prevent fraud or illegal activity; Protect the safety of users or others. 6.5. Business transfers If Next Business Media Private Limited undergoes a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, user data may be transferred as part of that transaction.
