Terms and Conditions

Last Updated: 20 July 2026 1. Introduction; Acceptance of Terms 1.1. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Muslimdaad website, mobile application, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”), operated by Next Business Media Private Limited (“Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”). 1.2. The Platform enables Muslim individuals worldwide to create fundraising causes and to transfer Sadaqah and Zakaat directly to other users on a peer‑to‑peer basis. 1.3. By registering, browsing causes, uploading documents, creating a cause, verifying a cause, or making/receiving any donation through the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform. 1.4. We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last Updated” date at the top reflects the latest revision. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. [This section sets the basic contractual relationship and makes clear that use = acceptance.] 2. Nature of the Platform; No Trust or Charity Registration (Currently) 2.1. Muslimdaad is a technology facilitator only. We provide a digital space where users can: Create and list causes for fundraising; Share payment details; and Arrange peer‑to‑peer transfers of Sadaqah and Zakaat directly between donors and recipients. 2.2. We are not a charity, trust, or registered Zakat foundation at this time. We do not collect, hold, or distribute donations on behalf of users. All money transfers happen directly between users via their chosen payment methods (bank transfer, UPI, etc.), outside the Platform. 2.3. We do not guarantee that any cause is genuine, that funds will be used as described, or that any religious conditions (including Shariah compliance for Zakaat) are met. It is each user’s responsibility to investigate and decide whom to trust. [This makes your “facilitator only” position very clear and limits liability.] 3. Eligibility 3.1. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to register and use the Platform. 3.2. By using the Platform, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms and to make/receive donations under applicable laws in your country. 3.3. Certain features (e.g., creating a cause, acting as a verifier) are restricted to users who have uploaded specified identity documents and whose profiles have been approved by the admin. 4. Registration and Account Security 4.1. To use certain features, you must create an account with accurate, complete, and up‑to‑date information. 4.2. You are responsible for: Keeping your login credentials confidential; All activities that occur under your account; and Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use. 4.3. We may suspend or terminate accounts that we suspect are involved in fraud, abuse, or violation of these Terms. 5. Identity Documents and Admin Approval 5.1. Only registered users who have uploaded at least one of the following documents may create a cause: Passport; Aadhaar card; or PAN card. 5.2. These documents are collected for security and basic screening purposes only. 5.3. No third‑party verification service is currently used to authenticate these documents. An admin (currently Anas Jawed, on behalf of Next Business Media Private Limited) visually checks the documents and approves or rejects profiles at their discretion. 5.4. You confirm that any document you upload: Belongs to you and is genuine; Has not been altered or forged; and Does not violate any law. 5.5. We do not guarantee the accuracy, authenticity, or validity of any uploaded document. Uploading false or misleading documents is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate termination, legal action, and reporting to authorities. 6. Creating and Listing Causes 6.1. Users with approved profiles may create causes describing: The purpose of fundraising; The amount needed; Payment details (e.g., bank account, UPI ID); and Any other relevant information. 6.2. You are solely responsible for: The truthfulness and completeness of your cause description; Ensuring that your cause complies with all applicable laws and religious principles; and How you use any funds received. 6.3. We do not verify the actual need, authenticity, or end use of funds beyond the basic document check described in Section 5. 6.4. We reserve the right to: Reject, remove, or hide any cause at our sole discretion; Request additional information or clarification; and Disable causes that appear fraudulent, misleading, illegal, or harmful. 7. Zakaat Causes and Verifier Role 7.1. For causes listed under Zakaat, the Platform requires that the cause be verified by another user who has been assigned a “Verifier” role by the admin. 7.2. A Verifier is expected to: Know the cause creator and/or beneficiary; Perform reasonable checks on the legitimacy and eligibility for Zakaat; and Confirm in good faith that the cause appears to meet Zakaat criteria as they understand them. 7.3. Verifier status does not make the Platform, the Company, or the Verifier legally or religiously liable for how funds are used. The Verifier acts as an independent community member, not as an agent of the Company. 7.4. Donors must still perform their own due diligence before giving Zakaat or Sadaqah to any cause, even if marked as “Verified”. 8. Donations Are Peer‑to‑Peer; Platform Does Not Handle Funds 8.1. All donations on Muslimdaad are direct peer‑to‑peer transfers between donor and recipient. 8.2. The Platform: Does not collect, hold, escrow, or distribute donation funds; Does not process payments directly (at this stage); and Does not issue receipts, tax certificates, or Zakat certificates. 8.3. Payment details (bank accounts, UPI IDs, etc.) are shared on the Platform to facilitate direct transfers. Once money is sent, it is solely between the donor and the recipient. 8.4. We are not responsible for: Any loss, misuse, or non‑delivery of funds; Disputes between donors and recipients; or Any failure by a recipient to use funds as described. 9. Your Duty to Investigate; No Endorsement 9.1. You alone are responsible for investigating any cause before donating. This includes, where possible: Confirming the identity and background of the cause creator/beneficiary; Verifying the stated need and intended use of funds; Ensuring that the cause aligns with your understanding of Zakaat/Sadaqah rules; and Complying with all laws in your country regarding cross‑border donations, anti‑money‑laundering (AML), and sanctions. 9.2. The presence of a cause on the Platform, or its “Verified” label, does not constitute: An endorsement by Next Business Media Private Limited; A guarantee of authenticity; or A religious ruling (fatwa) on Zakaat eligibility. 9.3. If you are unsure about a cause, you should not donate until you are satisfied after your own checks. 10. Prohibited Conduct 10.1. You agree not to use the Platform to: Create false, misleading, or fraudulent causes; Impersonate another person or entity; Upload forged or tampered identity documents; Solicit funds for illegal activities, terrorism, violence, hate speech, or anything that violates applicable law; Launder money, evade sanctions, or facilitate financial crime; Harass, defame, or harm other users; or Attempt to hack, interfere with, or compromise the Platform’s security or functionality. 10.2. Violation of this section may result in immediate suspension/termination and may be reported to authorities. 11. Use of Funds Raised for Platform Development 11.1. At present, Anas Jawed (Next Business Media Private Limited) is personally funding the development, hosting, and operation of Muslimdaad without external donations. 11.2. If, in the future, donations are specifically collected to build a formal KYC structure, register a trust, or add wallet features, those funds will be used solely for those stated purposes, subject to applicable laws and any separate terms that may then apply. 11.3. Until such a trust or wallet system is formally established and communicated in writing, no user has any ownership, equity, or claim over the Platform or its future revenues by virtue of donating to causes on Muslimdaad. 12. Disclaimer of Warranties; Limitation of Liability 12.1. The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without any warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of accuracy, reliability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non‑infringement. 12.2. We do not warrant that: The Platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error‑free; Causes listed are genuine or that funds will be used as described; or Any particular religious outcome (e.g., validity of Zakaat) will be achieved. 12.3.
